Beddown is a brand of InCommunity INC a registered charity with the ACNC. 273,600 people were supported by specialist homelessness service agencies across Australia during 2022-2023 of which 100,682 were new to these organisations*. We know that there are people sleeping rough who may not be included in these statistics due to barriers unique to their personal circumstances. At Beddown we seek to bridge this gap and connect our guests into relevant support available to them. Ensuring the health and wellbeing of our guests is at the heart of what we do. We connect our guests to service providers who can offer a variety of support to enhance their quality of life, including: - Links to short and long term accommodation - Referrals to general and specialised medical care (including mental health and addiction support services) - Connections to government organisations and other support programs - Clothing, toiletries and other incidentals for personal care and grooming Beddown's mission is to provide a health and wellbeing response to assist people sleeping rough through targeted supports. *As per the Australian Government’s Specialist Homelessness Services: 2022-2023 Annual Report published on 28 November 2023
