As Ballarat's peak regional tourism marketing and development organisation, Visit Ballarat is a membership based, not-for-profit incorporated association.
We are here for our members, and our mission is to grow tourism for our members' mutual benefit. Visit Ballarat members conduct business in sectors including accommodation, attractions, tour operators, wineries, restaurants, retail and others.
Visit Ballarat drives activities to attract visitors to Ballarat and the surrounding region. We also work to grow the region's profile on the domestic and international fronts. We do this by targeting key consumer and trade segments. Our mix of marketing strategies is developed in collaboration with members and Visit Victoria. We also advocate at all levels of Government to protect the best interests of our members.
Our work to date has grown the region's tourism industry to over 2.2 million visitors, helped create over 2,030 jobs and injects over $577 million a year into the local economy. We can only achieve these results in collaboration with our members.
