Anne Carlsen Center is a non-profit organization that has been providing support and services for over 80 years to individuals in North Dakota with developmental disabilities or delays. Rich in tradition, the Anne Carlsen Center has positioned itself at the cutting edge of innovation with unique programs, creative therapies, and advanced assistive technologies that meet the specific needs of those it serves.
When its doors opened in 1941, the Anne Carlsen Center served individuals with drastically different needs than those it serves today. Current clients have far more complex physical, behavioral, and learning needs, and the geographical reach of its programming has expanded from a regional hub to a statewide presence. The Anne Carlsen Center helps nurture the abilities of more than 2,600 individuals across 13 office locations, offering life-changing services in every county in North Dakota.
