Fitz Solicitors was founded in 2006 by James FitzGerald. After an illustrious career working in corporate city practices Mr FitzGerald decided that there was a niche in the market for a boutique practice that still offered the high degree of specialist legal expertise but on a more personal level. Fitz Solicitors was born.
The firm began by servicing the needs of corporate and commercial clients based in London from offices situated in the picturesque village of Datchet. The firm’s proximity to Windsor, Heathrow and the main railway into London, Waterloo was the perfect foil to the previously experienced traumas of commuting to the City and the impersonal bustle of a large law practice.
Without sacrificing any intellectual rigor, the legal team has learnt to adapt to the needs of its clientele (whether corporate or personal) and draws very favourable comments in respect of its innovative, fresh approach to legal problems.

After a number of successful years trading Mr FitzGerald sadly and unexpectedly passed away in April 2013. The baton, however, would not simply fall to the ground. Management of the firm was taken up later that year by Mr FitzGerald’s protege – Mr Primal Laxman.
Mr Laxman was adamant that he would continue the good work that Mr FitzGerald had begun and made a solemn commitment to the firm’s employees and clients that Fitz Solicitors would continue to stand for the same values that it has always done – exceptional legal services provided by personable and friendly staff who offer real ‘value added’ in everything that we do. To this day, that commitment remains at the core of what every member of our team stands for. You need only to read one of our many testimonials on Google, Facebook, Yell.com or Solicitors.info to see what our clients think of us.
