SWIS provide an Alternative to Education Provision alongside other services such as; Supervised Contact, Emergency 24hr Support and Respite to maintain Care placements and or to support a young person to stay at home whilst also offering Transport Services to support a young person to safely transition between placements
These services aim to:
Re-engaging children who are vulnerable, depressed or anxious, Strengthening children's ability to manage their behaviour, whilst equipping children to improve their academic achievements and ensure that the interventions support their English, Maths and Science attainment. We support children who are struggling with their family circumstances while improving children's psychological and emotional well-being. We aim to help families to support their children in school and the community alongside enhancing teachers' ability to manage and support struggling students. All the while minimising the impact of children with conduct problems on their peers and enabling and respite support – our staff are experienced in supporting children and young people living with disabilities.
