We believe joy brings comfort and hope in times of distress. We have seen first-hand the difference laughter and play can make to the lives of vulnerable children as they struggle to make sense of the things happening around them.
Guided by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, we recognise laughter and play as a stabilising force for children living in disaster zones. Working with professional artists and facilitators, our performances and workshops encourage children to reconnect with childish impulses and a sense of fun. It is our mission to alleviate their suffering by sharing joy and wonder when they need it most.
Leading by example, we also believe our approach has the potential to transform the way the humanitarian system serves children affected by crisis.
