Scarsdale International School strives to create a dynamic global school community while following the New York State Curriculum. It is a school where students of different nationalities, circumstances, and walks of life find an accepting place to learn, grow, achieve and expand their horizons while living in Pakistan. The students’ sojourn at the school depends on the reasons that the students have come to Pakistan. Therefore we need to ensure that students demonstrate academic growth to reach their potential, enthusiastically make positive contributions to the community, and exhibit intellectual curiosity that inspires excitement about learning where ever they go next. The facilities and school resources allow Scarsdale to offer a diverse educational program from pre-school to high school. Class size at Scarsdale International School which is intentionally kept small and has a teacher student ratio of 1:7, thus allowing teachers to give students an extraordinary amount of individual attention within the class and concentrate on an interactive, student centered teaching approach. Scarsdale International School was conceived as an international school providing a quality, affordable, American style education in Pakistan for the local and expatriate communities. The school was established in 1997 and received accreditation by NCA through CITA for the first time in 2002.The school was accredited again in January 2015 by AdnacEd. Our community has proven itself to be resourceful, committed and resilient in the face of external challenges. Even though the political and security situation in Pakistan has been uncertain, the school has retained its position of quality education in the community. The school’s population is primarily from families who are Pakistan nationals and/or dual citizenship holders and foreign passport holders who have family and business ties to Pakistan.
