CASA Kendall County is a nonprofit membership organization which advocates for the best interest of children who have experienced abuse and neglect. We train and support dedicated community volunteers who serve as court appointed advocates to protect a child’s right to a safe and permanent
home.
We are the child’s voice in court.
CASA is an acronym for Court Appointed Special Advocate. A Court Appointed Special Advocate is a volunteer trained and supported by an Advocate Supervisor to monitor the court cases of children aged 0 to 21 who have experienced abuse and neglect. CASA volunteers are appointed by a judge in juvenile court to serve as an advocate for the purpose of speaking in the child's best interest.
CASA Kendall County is a member of the National CASA/GAL Association.
