We work on projects, and on life forms, strategically and symbiotically, with companies, institutions and research centres. Drawing networks and eventually building ad-hoc teams for every task.
Our activities as creative office, publishing company and research agency started in 2001 with the invention, editing and publishing of Boiler, a magazine, born as a blog, about contemporary art and its context: design, fashion, film, music, new technologies. The art of putting (different) things together. We worked on it for 5 years. To us, the paper magazine was as important as the experiences which gave birth to its contents, as the international community that gathered around it. Physically and digitally.
We trust proximity and we trust being remote. What swings between diverging ideas, forms and behaviours is what interests us the most.
Boiler magazine organised talks, happenings, exhibitions, parties, performances, in Milan and Rome, in London, Los Angeles and Berlin. The engagement of the audience was always high. Since then, we evolved into an agency. We work on advertising, fairs, content creation and dissemination, graphic and communication design. We believe in interdependence, interaction, exchange and singularities.
We have organised large, medium and small exhibitions and gigs for companies, galleries, institutions and museums, involving international artists, designers, musicians and curators. In Beirut, Dubai, London, New York, Shanghai, Tunis… We have brought contemporary art, design and music in the life of companies, and the other way around. We like art and commerce. We work on, and publish, magazines, books and digital platforms, independently and with institutions, companies and other publishers: Condè Nast Italia, Edison, Les Editions Jalou, Mondadori, Moschino, the Municipality of Milan, the National Chamber for Italian Fashion, Uovo Performing Arts Festival.
