On January 1, 2018, Lindquist & Vennum merged with Ballard Spahr LLP. The combined firm—which will retain the name Ballard Spahr—will have more than 650 lawyers in 15 offices nationwide. Lindquist & Vennum LLP was a business-oriented, general practice law firm with 150 attorneys and offices in Minneapolis, Denver and Sioux Falls. The firm was known for its extensive M&A, bankruptcy, corporate finance and commercial litigation practices, as well as for groups focused on renewable energy, life sciences, financial institutions, and real estate.
