NAMS Canada is a not-for-profit association established on 17th November 2014. Its principal activity is building capacity in asset management for public infrastructure.
NAMS Canada is an affiliate of the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia (IPWEA) and uses IPWEA’s NAMS.PLUS system to assist Canadian and North American local governments and public works entities improve the way they manage their public infrastructure assets.
Our asset management expertise is recognised globally founded on the publication of the International Infrastructure Management Manual (IIMM).
Over 2,000 asset management professionals have completed our Professional Certificate in Asset Management Planning - a ten-week, on-line, training course which is based on ISO 55000 and the International Infrastructure Management Manual (IIMM). The course guides participants to write their organizations asset management plan using their own data while earning their qualification.
