We have a large workplace injury prevention bias. This includes education workshops and seminars on sitting, standing, lifting and handling. We work with workplaces to manage early symptoms of pain and discomfort avoiding these becoming complex health problems. We do worksite assessments. We consult to workplaces on systems improvement where handling or spaces can be improved to reduce injury risk. Other collaborations include work with Formway Design on furniture development particularly chair design.
Willis Street Physiotherapy retail sells a number of superfoods, healthfoods and rehabilitation equipment. We are the only stockist in the country to have a full range of Vibram 5 finger minimalist running shoes. We also stock: Skora minimalist shoes; Ultraspire running packs and hydration kits; and a range of toe socks.
Willis Street Physiotherapy provides physiotherapists to 8 older adult rest home and hospital level facilities across the Wellington and Nelson regions. We have a team of physiotherapists whose role is to provide safe environment for both residents and staff.
