The Québec Government Office in Atlanta (DQA) opened its doors in 1978. In addition to defending and advancing Québec’s interests in the southeastern region of the US, the mandate of the Québec Government Office in Atlanta includes developing and promoting economic, political, educational and institutional ties with the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee as well as the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. The Trade division of the DQA provides hands-on, operational support to Québec-based companies looking to increase their footprint in the southeastern region of the US; promotes scientific and technological partnerships with US-based entities and assists US companies looking for strategic suppliers in Québec.
