In Spring 2017, the government are introducing the Apprenticeship Levy. The Levy is a compulsory pay roll tax for businesses with a pay bill of over £3million. If you’re a levy paying employer, you will need to pay 0.5% of your paybill to fund apprenticeships. The government will top up your levy funds by 10% and there are also other incentives available.
