MOORHEAD BUSINESS ASSOCIATION (MBA) is a business advocacy network with 350+ businesses and non-profits we serve in Moorhead and surrounding areas. When you sign up as a member you get the MBA team, on your team. This means sharing your social media, supporting your events, and as always --constant referrals to your business. We encourage our members to spend local and support those who support us. MBA gathers weekly on Wednesdays for our “Let’s Talk Business” meeting at the Moorhead American Legion! Each week we have lunch together as we discuss updates about our program and its members, and then welcome a featured speaker to plug their business and talk about upcoming events, changes, or exciting things on the horizon! Once per month we also host an evening networking event called 560Connect at a member's location. These are hosted as "Business After Hours" to build awareness of your space and increase traffic in a laid-back atmosphere. We are heavily involved in putting on annual events such as the Holiday Parade, Moorhead Proud 565600H & AAH 4th of July Fireworks, Bridge Bash, and the Par Tee Golf Tournament. We also facilitate the Moorhead Alliance of Non-Profits, as well as support our businesses in putting of events for Frostival, Moorhead Cruise Night and so much more! Our primary focus is not simply events, but to advocate for business to our city/county and keep our members up to date on regulations & requirements as they continue to shift. We have close relationships with the city, City Council, State, and Local Representatives to better serve our businesses.
