Cushla Whiting is a Melbourne based jewellery designer creating unique engagement rings and fine jewellery with a focus on extraordinary gemstones. As a former architect, Cushla’s style is driven largely by geometry, form and detail. Cushla finds inspiration in details found in antique jewellery and will reinterpret these into modern design. We work out of a beautiful Melbourne city Showroom where customers are invited to hand pick their own gemstones and work with Cushla in designing their perfect unique piece Cushla Whiting is a family business run by three siblings, all of whom grew up around gemstones with their father a diamond merchant. Cushla’s brother Hamish, a GIA Gemologist sources with perfecting standards their large selection of beautiful diamonds and coloured stones. Hamish’s knowledge and passion for gemstones is both evident and contagious and customers love the experience of working with him in hand selecting their perfect stone. No detail escapes Cushla’s focus, and she couples this with a desire to make her jewellery wearable, comfortable and designed to be worn for a lifetime.
