Since childhood I was exposed by all kinds of traditional Fine Art and Designs through my Turkish and Syrian decent. I have chosen a career for myself in designing accessories and furniture, influenced by my oriental origin. The inspiration for my designs encompasses both functionality and beauty, using rare materials such as mother of pearl. Throughout my career, I have been very involved in all types of Design, Art Galleries and Auctions, Restorative and Inventive mill-work techniques, and many Residential Projects of all kinds. Through my experience I have discovered that many of us are familiar with European and American designers; although we have many other excellent designers around us with a special oriental touch that have yet to be exposed. It is because of this that I have decided to launch Levantania, to promote these artists and give them the credit and recognition they deserve.
