The Seychelles Agricultural Agency was established in 2009 by an act of parliament to enhance the national food and nutrition security and to provide goods and services to the food producing entrepreneurs. The Agency as corporate body is: to facilitate and support the enhancement of national food security to facilitate the increase of the contribution of agriculture in the country's gross domestic product to facilitate the modernization and development of the agricultural sector
