The Clwyd Powys Archaeological Trust is committed to engaging the public in archaeology, and undertaking archaeological research of the highest quality. We are one of the four Welsh Archaeological Trusts working to help protect, record and interpret all aspects of the historic environment
- Our Development Control team advises local authorities on archaeology and planning
- Our Historic Environment Record maintains over 100,000 records of archaeological sites, monuments and events in the region
- Our Field Services team undertakes archaeological projects for developers, for Cadw and for other organisations
- Our Outreach team have a programme of community archaeology events and activities
The Clwyd-Powys Archaeological Trust also delivers training in archaeological method and practice to academics, professionals, students and non-professional groups. We are a Registered Organisation with the Institute for Archaeologists.
