Sanzyme was founded as UNISANKYO LTD.
It was 1st established in 1969, an Indo-Japanese pharmaceutical venture. In 2011, the company became a completely Indian entity and was rechristened as Sanzyme.
Sanzyme has kept the Japanese manufacturing ethics alive and added to it, the modern outlook of Indian research and development. We serve the healthcare industry with the help of 2 state of the art manufacturing plants and a completely self-sufficient R&D center. Our initiatives and researches are backed by the Ministry of science and technology. The company was the first to manufacture fungal diastase and other enzymes, which had a huge demand in India.

1969:
Founded in Hyderabad, India, as a Bulk Drug Manufacturer bringing in Fermentation and Biotechnology. Established manufacture of Fungal Diastase.
1974:
Established manufacture of Spores of Lactic Acid Bacillus. Setting up of Analytical, Biological and Microbiological Testing & Research Centers.
1976:
Recognition for the rd Laboratory by the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India.
1978:
Established Extraction Plant of Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (HCG) from pregnant women urine.
1994:
- World Health Organisation recognises GMP of our Factories.
- Celebrates Silver Jubilee year in search of excellence.
2000:
Expansion of Biological Laboratory in the field of animal science experimentation and research. Launch of Gynonys (Hydroxy Progesterone Caproate) and Launch of Established manufacture of Clomiphene Citrate and Cefpodoxime Proxetil (III Gen. Cepham oral antibiotic).
2003:
Manufature of Saccharomyces boulardii.
2007:
Introduction of novel dosage forms of HCG ( 500 IU for Male infertility and 7500 IU for special female groups with higher BMI)
2012:
Inauguration of New Ferments Manufacturing Facility in Karakapatla - Hyderabad.
2013:
Inauguration of New Injectables manufacturing Facility in Shamirpet - Hyderabad.
