The LCU Fund for Women’s Education is a private, secular, non-profit organization with more than 165 years of providing housing support for women pursuing their education. The mission of the LCU Fund is to clear the path for women in need to complete college by helping them pay their rent.
The LCU Fund awards grants to selected colleges or universities, public or private, that provide undergraduate, graduate, and/or professional programs within the five boroughs of New York City. LCU Funds are used solely to help pay the rent of women scholars preparing for careers in the arts, education, social work, public administration, religious leadership, criminal justice, or health care.
