Artemis Racing is a professional sailing team that was founded by Torbjörn Törnqvist in 2006.
Artemis Racing is a Challenger for the 35th America's Cup and represents KSSS (the Royal Swedish Yacht Club), the fifth-oldest yacht club in the world.
The 35th America’s Cup is the second challenge by Artemis Racing, which was Challenger of Record for the 34th America's Cup and a semi-finalist then. Since 2006, Artemis Racing has successfully competed in the Swan 601, the TP52 and the RC44 classes. The Team is named after Artemis, the Greek goddess known for her strength as a warrior and protector. As the Team Principal, Torbjörn Törnqvist, a world champion sailor in his own right, serves as its driving force. As an amateur sailor, Törnqvist has been successful on the TP52 Pro Circuit (winning the World Championship in 2007) and the RC44 Class (winning the World Championship in 2011).
