Looking to combine their passions for art and top water fishing, the brothers’ journey began in the corner of a small spare bedroom, where they created the first range of Malosi prototypes. Lures made in these formative years were handcrafted from timber, following a meticulous and time consuming process they’d developed and honed over many years of iteration. The boys made regular trips to their homeland of Samoa for extensive product testing chasing large GT, arguably the most formidable land-based target in the Pacific, which in turn ignited a passion for extremely well designed, handcrafted fishing products that still burns vigorously to this day.
