The Brazilian BioInnovation Association (ABBI) is the leading advocate in Brazil for companies and organizations in the forefront of the global bioeconomy. Our members represent an array of sectors that are using bio-based industrial processes or resources, whether genetically modified or not, to spark innovations that are building new industrial paradigms in strategic and socially responsible ways.
Founded in April 2014, ABBI is inspired by the conviction that Brazil holds the greatest potential to become a frontrunner of the global bioeconomy, and conducts initiatives that promote dialogues, fosters engagement and shapes public policies that will drive value-added, sustainable and equitable growth for Brazil.
