Black Students in Public Affairs (BSPA) is a student-run organization at Carleton University that provides support for Black students to explore and develop their interest in public affairs. In addition to providing students with the resources to pursue their future career endeavours.
Our mission is to create the next generation of Black changemakers through mentorship, scholarship, and community. We want to offer students a safe space to discuss their opinions on current events and their implications on the private and public sectors both domestically and internationally. BSPA aims to look at current issues from a wide variety of perspectives to create an all-encompassing experience in the world of public affairs.
