National Skills Development Authority formulates national skill development policy, strategy and plan of actions and fixes the Key Performance Indicator for government and nongovernment training institutes, prepare uniform training manual and co-ordinate the activities of their implementation, supervision and evaluation for the purpose of creating skilled human resources for the national and international labor market. The organization publishes the forecast of national and international labor market demand and establish sector-wise skill data bank. It provides recognition of prior learning of professions, monitors and coordinates all projects and actions related to skill development and takes actions to develop the standard of training, certification and mutual recognition.
