In 2022, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan established the International Agriculture University (IAU) in partnership with the Royal Agricultural University, a distinguished academic institution in the United Kingdom operating under the patronage of King Charles III.
This joint venture aims to provide students in Central Asia with a world-class education in agriculture and related fields. The IAU will not only equip graduates with exceptional knowledge and skills but also award them with a diploma from a prestigious British university.
The IAU offers an extensive range of educational programs in Agriculture, Business Management, Agrologistics, Agroeconomics, Food Safety Management, Crop Production Management, Livestock Production Management, and Farm Business Management.
The registration process for the new academic year is currently underway, offering students the option to enroll in a Bachelor's Degree or a Foundation year that supplements the knowledge required by foreign universities. The Foundation year also helps enhance proficiency in the English language, which is the primary medium of instruction.
Notably, the majority of lecturers at IAU are foreign experts, with ten teachers from countries such as the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Poland, Mexico, and India joining the faculty in the academic year 2023/2024. The University also offers internships in distinguished foreign centers, such as institutes and agri-food business companies in Europe.
