Shizen Energy was founded in 2011 by 3 founding members who were determined to "be the change,” three months after Japan experienced the tragic nuclear accident caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake. We develop and operate solar, wind, small-hydro, and biomass power plants in Asia and South America continuing to grow internationally and actively expanding our EnergyTech business. We focus on working with local communities, finding solutions together, empowering the communities and making them more sustainable. Our focus is local, our business is global.
