Infrastructure Development Authority of the Punjab (IDAP) is an autonomous body established for planning, designing, constructing and maintaining infrastructure in the Punjab province of Pakistan. The aim is deliver state-of-the-art projects for the Punjab Government, that fulfill public needs and improve quality of life.
IDAP works with local and international partners, consultants and contractors to deliver modern public infrastructure spanning sectors including structural engineering, transportation and civil engineering and public health and energy infrastructure. Mega infrastructure projects are executed efficiently, transparently and cost-effectively, without compromising quality. Services offered include project management, architectural design, urban planning, interior planning and design, landscape design, GIS services, engineering design, quality assurance and biomedical equipment planning.
Some of IDAP’s most important projects include building and establishing the Pakistan Kidney & Liver Institute (PKLI); upgrading DHQ and THQ Hospitals across the Punjab; constructing the Punjab Agriculture, Food and Drug Authority complex; building the Punjab Forensic Science Agency complex; constructing the new Information Technology University campus and establishing Hepatitis Prevention Treatment Clinics across the province.
