Mcrit was founded in 1988 by engineers from the Technical University of Catalonia interested in the evaluation of investments and public policies (Mcrit is the abbreviation for Multicriteria, a method of decision support). Currently, Mcrit is a multidisciplinary team of engineers, economists, environmentalist, geographers, designers and computer engineers working in spatial development and strategic and infrastructure planning, for public institutions and the private sector at local and international level. Mcrit is a company with strong background on research and innovation, and actively participates in the European Research Programmes. Mcrit develops advanced information, forecast and evaluation systems tailored to each case in cooperation with Geovincles ltd.
