Alike other technical societies under the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), IEEE Industry Applications Society (IEEE IAS) is also a society which works to make the transition of academics and corporates easier in terms to pursue a better career. IEEE North South University, Industry Application Society was formed on 9th June, 2018 as a chapter of IEEE North South University Student Branch. Since day one, the priority of this foundation is to validate the collaboration between students and the corporates. To achieve this target the society members are working with their full potential to set a benchmark for the future. The society has also participated successfully on the very first summit of IEEE Bangladesh Section Industry Application Society. Besides organizing events, they also have arranged several workshops which were instructed by professionals from different organizations.
