Since 1979, HomeSafe has protected Palm Beach County’s and South Florida’s most vulnerable residents – victims of child abuse and domestic violence.
Our mission: Creating safer, more productive lives for infants, children and families.
Through our results-driven approach, HomeSafe has grown into a leading provider of prevention and intervention services, serving more than 15,000 infants, children, young adults and families each year.
Today, HomeSafe offers comprehensive programs including:
• Healthy Beginnings, funded by Children Services Council of Palm Beach County:
◦ identifying and preventing child abuse and neglect;
◦ promoting healthy births;
◦ ensuring children are ready and eager to enter kindergarten.
• Independent Living Housing Program (Pond Place) - Since opening in 2016, The Bernstein Family Foundation Campus at Pond Place has provided safe, affordable housing, mentorship, and resources for young adults, age 18-23, who have "aged out" of the foster care system and are continuing their education.
• Residential Group Care - Providing abused and abandoned foster youth with comprehensive therapeutic services and a safe, warm home-environment, so that they can heal from their trauma and plan for brighter futures.
•SafetyNet - Immediate intervention and prevention services, in both English and Spanish, to victims of domestic violence and their children.
