Florida Humanities is dedicated to preserving, promoting and sharing the history, literature, culture and personal stories that offer Floridians a better understanding of themselves, their communities and their state. Established in 1973 as a private non-profit organization, Florida Humanities is the state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
