Raabta aims to empower communities in Pakistan by connecting them with valuable social services provided by the government, NGO’s, charities and the private sector. Specializing in building two-way communications in hard-to-reach communities, Raabta combines a strong local understanding of the diverse regions and people of Pakistan with the technical capacity to link them with the relevant service providers.
At Raabta we optimize the relationships between our partner organizations and the communities they operate in. We provide holistic research in media trends and popular opinion, along with anthropological studies to produce a deep understanding of the diverse areas and communities of the country.
Building on this knowledge base we develop communications systems that can be employed by our partners as well as the members of the community they work with. Our media solutions range from the production of radio programmes, print publications, and audience-led SMS systems to developing transparency and accountability mechanisms for third party and partner organizations.
We endeavour to build all projects and systems based on the idea of two-way communication where the audience takes the lead, enabling our partners to learn from their stakeholders whilst informing them.
