BNG Clean Fuel Corporation (“BNG”) is a clean energy infrastructure startup focused on the storage, delivery, and dispensing of hydrogen (“H2”) fuel to trucking fleets and independent operators that are undergoing a transition from high-emission diesel-powered trucks to zero-emission hydrogen-powered trucks.
BNG intends to become a major player in providing H2 fuel needed by large existing truck fleets seeking to reduce their “carbon footprint” by utilizing abundant, cost-effective, and zero-emission H2. using both fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) technology and hydrogen internal combustion engine (ICE) technology. The transportation sector is now the largest source of greenhouse gas emissions in the United States, with 28% of total emissions. (source: EPA)
BNG is planning the build out of its “H2HUB” fueling infrastructure starting in the Denver metro area. The H2HUB will integrate centrally located storage terminals, multiple liquid hydrogen stations, supply tankers, and mobile fueling equipment to service the needs of large fleet owners using hydrogen powered trucks. Branding will be under the name “BNGH2”.
Fueling equipment will be provided by BNG’s equipment and development partner, Chart Industries (NYSE: “GTLS”) https://www.chartindustries.com/. Chart Industries is considered to have the most sophisticated hydrogen storage and refueling equipment in the world. This equipment is planned to be installed by BNG’s systems integration partner, Engineering Permitting and Construction (EPC) https://epc4h2.com/.
BNG intends to focus initially on the development of a network of H2 fueling stations in the Denver area servicing trucking fleets. Once established, this network will expand from the Colorado Front Range, to the surrounding Rocky Mountain states.
BNG plans to expand vertically into hydrogen production facilities, and horizontally into several US transportation hubs as the business evolves. BNG has already identified several promising markets.
