The Nouvelle Aquitaine region has entrusted the University of Bordeaux and the Aquitaine Observatory of the Universe Sciences (OASU) with hosting the development of the "Regional Research Network on the anticipation of climate change in transforming territories" (designated Futurs-ACT). This emerging network is responsible for contributing to the scientific and societal challenge of anticipating, adapting to and mitigating the impacts of climate change at the regional level. Futurs-ACT aims to promote the development of a "new science" of anticipation by fostering an active dynamic between the domains of science, civil society and decision-makers, leading to the emergence of original research.
