Keystone Symposia on Molecular and Cellular Biology is committed to connecting the scientific community across disciplines and borders by convening open, international conferences on the cutting edge of the biomedical and life sciences. Our goal is to be a catalyst for generating new ideas and accelerating life science discovery.
Our 2017-2018 conference series consists of 60 conferences worldwide across a wide range of the life sciences.
In 2017, we mark the 45th anniversary of our founding in 1972 as the UCLA Symposia on Molecular and Cellular Biology. In 1990 we became a subsidiary of The Keystone Center in Keystone, Colorado and were renamed Keystone Symposia.
In 1997, Keystone Symposia became an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in Silverthorne, Colorado.
Keystone Symposia's Chief Executive Officer reports to the Board of Directors and, along with the Chief Scientific Officer, acts on the advice of a Scientific Advisory Board comprised of 70+ leading international scientists from academia, industry and government.
