East Durham College offers a huge range of full and part time courses.
At our Peterlee Campus we offer a wide selection of A Levels - and an even wider choice of vocational training pathways. A levels include law, chemistry, biology, further maths, PE, and many more - whilst our vocational options include areas such as engineering, catering, performing arts and travel & tourism.
The Peterlee Campus is also home to the Endeavour Academy, a free school offering a completely different educational path to conventional secondary schools and sixth forms by blending academic qualifications and the world of work into one unique and outstanding learning experience.
Also in Peterlee, we have a second site on the South West Industrial Estate, the 37,000 sq. ft Technical Academy, that offers training in a range of building and construction skills such as plumbing and electrical installation.
Our Houghall Campus, in Durham, providers students with the very best in land based studies, this includes courses in animal care, veterinary nursing, horticulture and many more. As well as full and part time courses Houghall also run a vast range of short courses. These range from the practical hobby-based, with the likes of bee keeping, dog agility, floral design and gardening, to business-based training aimed specifically at keeping you up-to-date with the knowledge and qualifications your industry sector demands.
