Transaero has the largest long-haul fleet in the Russian Federation, which includes 42 aircraft: 12 -747s, 11 -767s, 15 -737s, 2 - 777 and 2 Tupolev Tu-214. Transaero is the only airline in Russia, the CIS and Eastern Europe countries to operate modern wide-body -747 airplanes.
Transaero serves routes connecting Moscow with 85 destinations and it is the only Russian airline to operate scheduled flights to five continents.
International flights account for approximately 85% of the entire passenger turnover of the airline.
Transaero has obtained IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) certificate, which confirms the compliance of Transaero safety procedures with the most stringent IATA regulations. Transaero quality management system has been certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2000. The airline’s maintenance service has all necessary certificates issued by Russian, European (JAA) and US (FAA) regulatory authorities, which authorize the airline to perform maintenance of both Russian- and foreign-built airplanes.
Transaero is also a leader in terms of e-commerce. In March 2007 it became the first Russian airline to introduce e-ticket. In May 2007 for the first time in the Russian market it offered Web check-in services to its passengers.
