PRPW is a not-for-profit organisation that provides assistance to 100+ professional Pacific Island rugby players throughout the UK. PRPW work with individual players assisting them and their families on all issues relating to their professional, social and personal welfare among those; Navigating cultural differences Overseas transition practicalities Language support Contract legalities Visa and immigration advice Understanding foreign customs and values Personal finance/investment 'Life after rugby' aspirations Work experience and higher education Conflict resolution Player agent advice In addition to working with Pacific players, PRWP provides a range of advice and support to the wider UK rugby community through the RPA Cultural Diversity Programme (for more informations see www.theRPA.co.uk) Tailored for players, clubs and organisations who work with Pacific Islanders, the programme provides practical frameworks on engaging with, understanding, communicating effectively and relating to Pacific Island players in ways that ensure relationships are constructive and productive.
