Sight Support West of England provides support for people with and at risk of sight loss, to improve their quality of life and increase their individual independence.
We work to ensure blind and partially sighted people can access the services they need within their own communities, in a way that best suits their needs and aspirations.
Sight Support provides person-centred, individualised support to improve their quality of life whilst increasing independence, with a range of activities including:
• Information, advice & support
• Peer support
• Demonstration and provision of resources and technology
• Family support
• Social activities
• Self-advocacy
• Training, awareness and knowledge
• Development of good practice
