The American Friends of Migdal Ohr is the US-based development wing of Migdal Ohr. Migdal Ohr, headquartered in Migdal HaEmek Israel, was founded in 1972 by Rabbi Yitzchak Dovid Grossman, recipient of the Israel Prize for Life Achievement. The classroom where Rabbi Grossman first taught eighteen students has become one of three vast campuses serving thousands of children every day. Rabbi Grossman is known around the world for loving every Jew and we follow his example by raising each child with the love and acceptance they deserve.
Migdal Ohr’s network of services and programs provides everything from a child’s most basic needs - clothing, medical care, family structure, and emotional support - to education, vocational training, mentorship, and more. We care for Israel’s orphaned, at-risk youth and raise them to become dignified, contributing members of society.
