We established The Society of Heart’s Delight right before the pandemic hit and have been hosting online events. We are a bilingual community of Chinese immigrants who moved to America as adults and work in diverse fields. We create opportunities for our members to engage meaningfully with local life and culture, contribute to the public good, and cultivate a sense of belonging while having fun. Our overarching mission is to bridge our Chinese immigrant community with other communities and a variety of cultural groups (for example, Mexican, Vietnamese, LGBTQ, and the local arts, nonprofits and civics communities, etc.) Stay tuned for unique online programming, original articles, panel discussions, cultural and art gatherings, outdoor activities and more.
