B17 was founded by principals Rhett Bachner and Brien Meagher. After partnering with CORE Media Group in 2013, Bachner and Meagher have since created and launched the comedic format Broke A$$ Game Show, for MTV, Fluffy Breaks Even, the FUSE series featuring global funny man Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, as well as several other shows currently in various stages of production. Bachner and Meagher served as producers on ABC’s Emmy-nominated Shark Tank. They also executive produced The Pitch for AMC, Be The Boss for A&E, Real Deal for History, and Supermarket Superstar for Lifetime. In addition, they have developed projects with Snapchat, MTV, Spike, GSN, A&E, Discovery Channel, TNT, Nat Geo Wild, Animal Planet, E! and VH-1.
Prior to B17 Entertainment, Bachner served as Executive Producer on The Henry Rollins Show on IFC, Man Caves on DIY and Co-Executive Producer on Losing It With Jillian Michaels on NBC. Meagher worked as a Development Executive for Mark Burnett Productions, where he was Co-Executive Producer on Shark Tank and Expedition Impossible and also worked on The Apprentice. Bachner and Meagher are represented by CAA.
