Prior to founding Relationship1 David Ganz served as Vice President of Marketing at Coach and Sotheby's. At both companies David created direct-to-the-consumer (DTC) catalog channels that upended their traditional business models by driving the brand’s greatest sales and profits. Aiding in those efforts were the development of in-house marketing databases to reverse engineer retail site selection through analysis of the DTC data to pinpoint retail locations at the block level. David is one of only a handful of executives to have been honored with all of the Direct Marketing Association's top awards- Diamond Echo for best direct marketing campaign in all media and industries (not awarded every year); Golden Mailbox for most innovative direct mail campaign in a year; and two Gold Echo awards for best direct marketing campaign in a specific industry in a given year.
