Yedidut Toronto is an activity agent of the Friedberg Foundation of Toronto, Canada. The Friedberg Foundation's primary goal is to empower the most disadvantaged members of society to become self-sufficient. This vision is manifested by supporting programs in the fields of education, employment, financial literacy, housing loans and youth at risk. The Foundation supports also programs that promote Jewish awareness, health and mental-health. The beneficiaries of the Foundation's support include disadvantaged people from the entire spectrum of the global Jewish community. A large percentage of grants are allocated to activities in Israel, as well as in Canada, the US, Latin America, the UK and Europe.
