The Town of Plymouth, Massachusetts is located approximately 40 miles south of Boston. The Town has a population of over 60,000 people with a significant tourism industry. The Town spans 134 square miles, the largest land area of any municipality in Massachusetts.
Plymouth was the site of the colony founded in 1620 by the Mayflower Pilgrims, where New England was first established. It is the oldest municipality in New England and one of the oldest in the United States.
