American Producers Supply was founded in 1898 when American Supply began servicing the oil production and hardware needs of the Ohio Valley. Producers Industrial Supply was purchased in 1973 and became American Producers Supply in 1974. The business was moved to its current location at 119 Second Street, Marietta, Ohio in 1976. Since then the company has expanded its service area and added 12 additional branches throughout Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Indiana, and Michigan. With the recent growth in the oil and gas industry in our region, due to the use of hydraulic fracturing in the Utica and Marcellus shale formations, American Producers is providing supplies to the drilling and pipeline companies that have moved into the area. We also service a wide range of other industries: Metallurgical, Power Generation, Chemical, Rail and River Transportation, General Manufacturing, Road, Bridge and Dam Construction, General Construction, and Government Entities.
