CIOs Without Borders is a global not-for-profit organization that brings together members of the IT community in a novel philanthropic effort. Practitioners, academics, and industry providers will work as teams deploying technology solutions in select underserved under-developing markets. We support the Sustainable Development Goals and advocate using technology to achieve these goals. By bringing technology to places in dire need, CIOs Without Borders aims to promote the health and welfare of societies less fortunate than ours. A way for CIOs and other IT professionals to give back by helping those on the wrong side of the digital divide. CIOs Without Borders supports local technology initiatives that respond to basic needs in all sectors of society: health, education, social services, transportation, the environment and the arts.
