S.S. Papadopulos and Associates, Inc. (SSP&A) was established in 1979 to provide professional groundwater and hydrogeology consulting services. With that cornerstone of expertise, we have continued to grow and have developed a recognized practice in contaminant studies, environmental engineering, remediation, geochemistry, and surface-water hydrology. In addition to addressing site-specific water resource and contamination projects, SSP&A staff have been retained as expert witnesses and technical experts in high-profile judicial, administrative, and regulatory forums. Several SSP&A staff have been appointed to prestigious federal committees investigating current issues in contamination and remediation and defining the role of the science in addressing the nation's environmental problems. SSP&A's corporate office is located in Bethesda, Maryland. Regional offices are located in Boulder, Colorado; San Francisco, California; Portland, Oregon; Austin, Texas; and Montreal and Waterloo, Canada.
